APHRODITE CUP to be held as planned – Important information about Covid-19 measures

Dear Rhythmic Gymnastics friends,

Health and Safety of our participating delegations, gymnasts and coaches during APHRODITE CUP 2020 and in the course of preparation for the event is our highest priority.

We are working in cooperation with the national health authorities as well as with the Hellenic Gymnastics Federation, co-organizer of APHRODITE CUP and we are monitoring the situation closely following the guidelines for the protection of public health against Covid-19.

In Greece, there is no need for emergency measures under the current circumstances. The Greek public health authorities are, as should, prepared to deal with any incident.

APHRODITE CUP 2020 schedule and deadlines will continue to be the same as published until now.

We also inform you that the event will be held behind closed doors, according to the public health preventive measures taken by the Hellenic authorities regarding all sports events to be held between March 9th and 22nd.

We are confident that everything will run as planned, but of course, we are taking this situation seriously. For this reason we will be taking all necessary measures across our operation to safeguard the well being of everyone.

All National Federations and Gymnastics Clubs, as per international standards, should also check the health situation of all the gymnasts and delegation members.
