The new generation of the Greek rhythmic gymnastics national team, along with gymnasts from 20 foreign countries from Europe, Asia and Americas, are meeting up at the Olympic Indoor Hall of Faliro, for the 4th “Aphrodite Cup” International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament.
Entrance will be free for the public throughout the three days of competition, making this event a unique opportunity for everybody to get to know in depth one of the most beautiful Olympic sports.
Action will begin on Friday morning, as early as 09:00, and will continue until late in the evening. The Opening Ceremony at 19:00 is expected to be quite spectacular and will serve as the introduction to the best part of day 1: The Seniors’ Group Competition, right after the official opening of the tournament, will see the Greek Group enter the carpet and execute their routine with 5 Hoops. The fresh new Greek national team will measure its strength against the respective teams of Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Ireland, plus Ryazan gymnastics club from Russia.
After the Junior Groups show their potential, as well, it will be the moment for the Senior Women’s Individual Competition – part 1, which will consist of Hoop and Ball routines, starting at 20:30.

The International Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament “Aphrodite Cup 2018” is organized in collaboration between the Faliro Gymnastics Club ARMONIA, the Hellenic Gymnastics Federation and the Municipality of Palaio Faliro, under the auspices of the Prefecture of Attica and the General Secretariat for Gender Equality, with the institutional support of the Regional Development Fund of Attica.
